Our 2023 Impact Report is Live

2023 has been Island Conservation’s most impactful year ever, with more islands rewilded and more species protected than ever before. Each year, we celebrate our accomplishments in an annual Impact Report, where we pause, reflect, and celebrate everything that we’ve achieved together with our partner organizations and with the support of individual donors like you. 

Our Impact Report this year is more detailed, wide-ranging, and beautiful than ever. It features many highlights from the past year, including: 

  • Endangered Peruvian Diving-petrels return for the first time in more than forty years to their island home 
  • Marine monitoring employed by our partners to begin to measure ocean changes from invasive species removal 
  • Island nations in the Pacific committing to building climate resilience with island restoration 
  • In total, we removed introduced damaging invasive species from 7 large islands and 7 groups of islets (42 islets!)
