David Meline

David Meline is a globally recognized finance leader with a career spanning senior executive roles at Moderna, Amgen, 3M, and General Motors. Known for guiding complex organizations through periods of transformation and growth, he brings deep expertise in global finance, operations, and strategy.

David currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where he provides financial leadership as Chair of its Finance Committee. His global career and personal commitment to philanthropy reflect a long‑standing dedication to strengthening mission‑driven institutions.

An avid traveler and accomplished sailor, David has lived and worked on five continents and continues to explore the world with his wife, Barbara. He grew up in Minneapolis and resides in Santa Barbara.

With extensive international experience, board leadership, and a clear dedication to impact, David brings a strong strategic perspective to Island Conservation.
