Angie Carrion

Island Restoration Specialist

Angie was born in Guayaquil, but has been living in the Galapagos for the past decade. She studied tourism at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Literal and has a master´s degree in the management of sustainable tourist destinations. Her career in conservation began in 2012 at the World Wide Fund for Nature as a financial and administrative assistant, and she later worked as an executive assistant at the Charles Darwin Foundation. Angie has been a project assistant at Island Conservation since 2020. In her free time she enjoys exploring parks and eating ice cream with her children.
