Small Islands, Big Difference: A campaign to save our world's most vulnerable species.

Our economies, our health, our cultures, and our overall wellbeing all depend on biodiversity—thriving ecosystems of active plant and animal species. We are currently facing the risk of a major wave of extinctions. As the diversity of life on earth diminishes, we lose the natural resources that shape the quality of our lives.

Nowhere is the threat of extinctions bigger than on islands, and nowhere do we have a bigger opportunity to save species at risk. By removing invasive species from islands, including the vertebrates that were never supposed to be there in the first place, we remove a major threat to biodiversity and allow nature to heal itself.

We know that these small islands can make a big difference. With the proper investment and commitment, we can preserve biodiversity and save thousands of island species on one thousand islands over 20 years.
