Islands hold a wealth of biodiversity. Sadly, this biodiversity is threatened. Many endemic and native species are on the brink of extinction, with many already gone, due to invasive species which prey upon or compete with native species. Becoming a volunteer with Island Conservation or making a donation are ways you can become a part of the action to prevent species extinctions.
